Laser Scanning

Internal Plans
This year we used one of only 40 or so “Zeb1″ handheld scanners in this country to measure the internal space of 2 large schools.  The “Zeb1″, utilising state-of-the-art “SLAM” technology, proved to be very time and cost effective. Furthermore the resultant accuracy was as promised by the supplier.

This is a screen-shot of part of a Zeb1 point-cloud. The points have been colour-graduated according to their height.

From this scan, accurate plans were produced.

External Building Elevations
For externals at the same school, we used a FARO X120 scanner. This is a screen-shot of part of the point-cloud.
